Senior Lao Revolutionary People’s Youth Union Delegation Commence Four-Day Official Visit to Cambodia
AKP Phnom Penh, October 5, 2026 --
A high-level delegation of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Youth Union led by H.E. Thongly Sisoulith, Member of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Youth Union, arrived in Cambodia on Monday afternoon for a four-day official visit.
The visit is made at the invitation of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Vice President of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) and President of the CPP Central Youth.
The delegation was warmly welcomed upon arrival at Techo International Airport by H.E. Dr. Kim Santepheap, Member of the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) and Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the CPP Central Youth; H.E. Kim Rithy, Member of the CPP Central Committee and Member of the Standing Committee of the CPP Central Youth; and H.E. Dr. Souny Vong Visiddh, Member of the CPP Central Committee and Head of the National and International Relations and Cooperation Division of the CPP Central Youth.
H.E. Sonexay Vannaxay, Ambassador of Lao PDR to Cambodia, was also present on the occasion.
According to a CPP’s press release, during the visit from Oct. 5 to 8, H.E. Thongly Sisoulith will hold bilateral talks with Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet and hold discussions with a number of young leaders of the CPP.
“The official visit reflects the commitment of the youth of the two countries to maintaining, strengthening and further expanding their traditional bonds of friendship, good-neighbourliness and close cooperation for the mutual benefit of the two countries and their peoples,” the CPP emphasised.
