President of the National Assembly (NA) of Cambodia Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary has extended congratulations to her counterparts in the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Cyprus on their respective national occasions on Oct. 1, 2026.

In separate messages dated Sept. 28, Samdech Khuon Sudary conveyed her warmest congratulations to H.E. Cho Jeong-Sik, Speaker of the NA of the Republic of Korea, and his colleagues and the Korean people on the commemoration of National Day and Armed Forces Day.

She highlighted the longstanding friendship, strategic partnership and comprehensive cooperation between Cambodia and the Republic of Korea, particularly people-to-people exchanges.

Samdech Khuon Sudary expressed her conviction that the existing ties would continue to deepen for the mutual benefit of the two peoples.

She also reaffirmed Cambodia’s commitment to elevating parliamentary cooperation with the Republic of Korea through both bilateral and multilateral frameworks to the highest level for lasting peace and prosperity.

In her separate message to H.E. Ms. Annita Demetriou, President of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus, Samdech Khuon Sudary extended congratulations to her counterpart, colleagues and the Cypriot people on the 66th Anniversary of Independence Day.

She noted that friendship and cooperation between Cambodia and Cyprus have grown from strength to strength over the years.

The Cambodian NA President expressed confidence that the existing ties, particularly between the two legislatures, would be further deepened for the mutual benefit of the two peoples.

She also reaffirmed Cambodia’s commitment to enhancing a rules-based international order and open and inclusive multilateralism for enduring peace and prosperity.
