AKP Phnom Penh, September 26, 2026  -- Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Acting Head of State of the Kingdom of Cambodia, extended congratulations to the People's Republic of China on its 77th Founding Anniversary (Oct. 1).

“On the auspicious occasion of the 77th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC), I wish to convey my most sincere congratulations on behalf of the Senate, the Cambodian People's Party, and the people of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Your Excellency, the Communist Party of China (CPC), and the friendly people of the PRC,” Samdech Techo wrote in his congratulatory message to H.E. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of PRC.

Samdech Techo commended the leaders of the People's Republic of China across generations, who have always demonstrated extraordinary vision, resilience, and steadfast dedication to the well-being of their people and Great Rejuvenation of the nation. 

“The achievement of China's First Centenary Goal under the leadership of Your Excellency stands as a significant milestone in the nation's great journey and a testament to the enduring dedication and collective efforts of successive leaders that have delivered lasting peace, prosperity, and progress,” he underlined. “While looking forward with confidence to the realisation of the grand aspirations embodied in the Second Centenary Goal, I firmly believe that China will continue to play a leading role in promoting peace and sustainable development for the region and the world.”

Samdech Techo added that he is gratified that the longstanding friendship and win-win cooperation continue to be solidified for the best interests of the two nations based on the spirit of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. 

The Cambodian Acting Head of State further reaffirmed his steady commitment to working closely with H.E. Xi Jinping to further enhance the depth and scope of the inter-party, inter- parliamentary, and inter-governmental cooperation for the benefit of the All-Weather Cambodia- China Community with a Shared Future in the New Era.
