Cambodian PM to Pay an Official Visit to Viet Nam and Attend 3rd ASEAN Future Forum
AKP Phnom Penh, June 07, 2026 — A high-level Cambodian delegation led by Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, will pay an official visit to the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and to attend the 3rd ASEAN Future Forum in Hanoi from June 8 to 10, at the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister H.E. Le Minh Hung.
According to a press release issued this morning by the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Samdech Thipadei will be accompanied by Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, and H.E. Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, as well as other Ministers, key government officials, and business representatives from the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and the Cambodian Oknha Association.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet will hold bilateral talks with H.E. Prime Minister LE Minh Hung, during which the two leaders will exchange views on ways to deepen bilateral relations as the two countries will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations next year. The two Prime Ministers are expected to touch on regional, and international issues of common interest and concern.
During the visit, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet will pay courtesy calls on H.E. To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and President of Viet Nam, H.E. Tran Thanh Man, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam. He will also meet with H.E. Tran Cam Tu, Politburo Member and Permanent Member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam.
Samdech Thipadei will deliver a keynote speech at the opening session of the "ASEAN Future Forum" under the theme "Shape Our Future Together: Peace, Prosperity, People-Centred," which emphasises promoting trade, investment, and economic cooperation within ASEAN.
