A Cambodian triathlon athlete has grabbed a silver medal at the 6th Asian Beach Games being held in Sanya, People's Republic of China from April 22 to 30.

According to Mr. Yeanki Sivatha, President of the National Sports Training Centre, the triathlon athlete Ms. Margot Garbedian Morokot won on April 23 the silver medal in Women Individual Aquathlon at time duration: 32.00, among 27 participating competitors from 15 countries.

The National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) has sent athletes to compete in four sports at the 6th Asian Beach Games, including wrestling, teqball, jiu-jitsu and triathlon.
